What a busy couple of months here at Little Peaks! November brought with it the much awaited OFSTED visit which went swimmingly and we were delighted to announce our registration!  The settling in sessions for children were brilliant and we loved meeting so many wonderful families! Our first week also blessed us with a heavy snow fall but, true to form, we weren't going to let it stop us from opening our doors - after all we are a providing a service! So, it was a sleepover at the Highwayman Hotel next door ( staff were amazing - pay them a visit!) and shovels at the ready! Our first Christmas was lovely with some gorgeous, unexpected, gifts from our lovely families. The children enjoyed a whole host of festivities from sparkling tuff trays and glittery playdough to beautiful handmade Christmas cards. So what's in store for Little Peaks in January? It seems that word is spreading and our numbers are growing (how exciting!) and, as a result of this, we are delighted to announce that we are taking on our first staff member..Sally. Sally has worked in child care for many years and will be a great asset to our little team.
