At Little Peaks Day Nursery, we are committed to providing exceptional childcare services that prioritise each child's individual needs and development. With a focus on creating a supportive and stimulating environment, we aim to be a trusted partner in your child's early years education journey.
This room is home to our youngest children - aged 3 months to 2 years. The layout and resources have been meticulously thought out with children's development and needs at the forefront. Our dedicated sleep room ensures our children are provided with a calm and quiet space to get adequate rest. They have space to investigate and explore the resources whilst being cared for be highly trained adults who liaise closely with parents and carers to ensure children's needs are met.
This room is home to our terrific toddlers, ages 2-3 years. In this room staff concentrate on children's ever developing sense of self confidence and need to explore. As well as a strong emphasis on communication and language through stories, singing etc. Children enjoy role play where their developing imaginations can run wild and have access to a designated craft room with free flow access to the garden - absolutely perfect!
Last but very much not least we have our pre-school room for children aged 3+. Here we really foster children's independence in preparation for their next step to school. The preschool room is still under construction but will be located upstairs and we have a vast open plan space to work with! We aim to really adopt a child centered approach with designated areas for reading, role play, creative play, mark making and so much more! We promise to post some photos as soon as it's done!
Definitely the part that sold the location to us! At Little Peaks we place high value on outdoor play and understand the huge benefits of keeping young children healthy and active. Your children will have daily access to our beautiful Peak District garden where they will enjoy a range of different experiences from traditional garden games to the exciting visits from the local farm animals (the cows are regulars at the Farmers Yard but are very much safely on their side of the fence!)
